When you look at the current landscape of professional wrestling, especially on the independent scene, it's very easy to see the influence that the duo of Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin have had, particularly in tag team wrestling.

During their run in the late 2010's in TNA, the electric duo were doing things that no one had seen before, and in 2020, they finally returned as a team to claim gold in Impact, and they're just as good as they always were.

Shelley and Sabin, due to injuries and age can't fly around with the quickness that they once did, but the chemistry and tandem offence still remains, making them one of the best tag teams in the world.
While IMPACT offers great tag teams for them to compete against, the stage is much smaller than it used to be for that company, so many will want to see the duo compete in AEW. But whether that happens or not, these two deserve their spot on this list and in the history books.
