Goldberg's run from late 2016 to WrestleMania 33 is a divisive topic. There are sections of the WWE universe that believe it was a fitting farewell to the former WCW champion, while others would argue that it did nothing but make newer, fresher talent look weak.

The rest of the run aside, Goldberg did deliver a great match with Brock Lesnar at last year's WrestleMania. The whole bout didn't even last 10 minutes but it was everything it should have been. It was a blockbuster match that felt like you were watching two absolute monsters going at it from the opening bell.

There were finishers aplenty here, and 'The Beast Incarnate' finally overcame the one man he couldn't solidify his place as the most unstoppable force in the WWE.

If a display of technical prowess is what you are after, then look elsewhere, but if you want to see the two of the toughest men in the history of the industry going hammers and tongs on The Grandest Stage Of Them All, then look no further.
