Carmella won the Money in The Bank contract all the way back in June 2017. But it was not until the SmackDown after Wrestlemania 34 that she cashed in the contract.

On the April 10th, 2018 edition of SmackDown Live, Charlotte was beaten down by the debuting IIconics - Peyton Royce and Billie Kay. As she was struggling to get up, Carmella came to the ring to cash in her Money in The Bank contract. After a super-kick, Carmella beat Charlotte to become the SmackDown Women's Champion.
Since then, Carmella has had an okay title reign which has seen her defend the title against the likes of Charlotte Flair and Asuka. Although Carmella has limited in-ring abilities, her microphone work has enabled her to grab the spotlights. She can generate legitimate heat and with the return of her lackey James Ellsworth, her title reign is gaining steam. But, she often comes across as a whiny champion who can only talk. Therefore, she is not that high on this list.
