Fresh from his controversial victory against Elias, Seth Rollins announced an open challenge for the IC title. Dolph Ziggler's theme song rang out and he came to answer the challenge along with Drew McIntyre. After a stellar match, Ziggler won the IC title via a roll up by grabbing Seth's tights. WWE booked a karmic-bitch slap angle with Seth Rollins as Ziggler won in the same fashion that Seth had won a night ago.

Since then Ziggler has defended the title successfully in a rematch the next Monday night. Although it is fairly early to judge his title reign, he has been spectacular in the spot till this point. Ever since he partnered with Drew McIntyre, he has been rejuvenated and has experienced a renewed push hence earning this spot on the list.
