So far, CM Punk holds the record for the highest amount of Money in the Bank briefcase wins in the history of the business. While Carmella also won it twice, the second time was due to a replay of the first match thanks to the involvement of James Ellsworth, so it won’t be counted.

However, CM Punk won two separate Money in the Bank Ladder Matches in consecutive years. This was at a time when Punk was not seen as the revolutionary wrestler that he is recognized as being today. At the time, he was an up-and-coming young star who successfully cashed in the briefcase both times, leading to two World Heavyweight Championship wins.

He was also a part of four different Money in the Bank matches, getting close every time that he was a part of it. Punk may be the best-ever wrestler when it comes to Money in the Bank matches in WWE history.

His cash-ins were also memorable, defeating Edge after an attack by Batista to win the title the first time, and cashing-in on Jeff Hardy after an exhausting ladder match by Hardy.
