#3 Brock Lesnar vs Seth Rollins (WrestleMania 35)
This was less of a match and more of an angle. But what an angle it was. WrestleMania 35 had twelve matches on the main card, guaranteeing a very long night for the WWE Universe. But it was made a little shorter thanks to this genius piece of last-minute booking.
Seth Rollins claimed on his WWE 365 special that his match with Brock Lesnar was supposed to go on second to last, before being shifted to open the show just hours before it began.
It was a genuine shocker, seeing Paul Heyman saunter onto the WrestleMania scene while Alexa Bliss was posing with Hulk Hogan. Brock Lesnar opening WrestleMania was bizarre but fresh.
He bounced Rollins around for a while before the match began but once the bell rang, the Architect countered Lesnar with a low blow and three straight Curb Stomps to win the Universal Championship. What a way to open WrestleMania. This helped to balance the card perfectly for the rest of the night.
It wouldn't take much to be better than Lesnar's 'Mania outings with Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, but this short match with Seth Rollins was solid with its story and satisfying with its conclusion. This got the fundamentals spot on.
