#2 Brock Lesnar vs Goldberg (WrestleMania 33)

This should have been Goldberg's WWE swansong

The feud between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar in 2016 was captivating in so many ways. The former WCW megastar was extremely motivated, making for an intense story heading into Survivor Series. Lesnar did the job in 86 seconds, making Goldberg look like a killer and extending the storyline until WrestleMania.

Much like this year, Goldberg won the Universal Championship from a top talent before WrestleMania. But in 2017, he was still pretty great. By default, the Beast got a title match at the Show of Shows but he would not let it slip this time.

The match between Brock Lesnar and Goldberg at WrestleMania 33 was excellent, another short offering from Lesnar which provided a satisfying conclusion. It was the ultimate redemption from their absolute stinker at WrestleMania 20.

Both men had unlimited finishers in their arsenal, with four Spears, one Jackhammer and ten German suplexes before it was one single F5 which put Goldberg down for the count. It may seem boring by this description, but the match was just a short power-packed ball of intensity. This should have remained as Goldberg's final in-ring outing.

This was Lesnar's best match in over a year and proved one simple fact, a good match can last any amount of time. The contrast between this match and his match with Dean Ambrose from the previous year was stark.
