#1 Brock Lesnar vs Roman Reigns (WrestleMania 31)
The best match that Brock Lesnar has had at WrestleMania since ending The Undertaker's undefeated streak happened one year after he did so. As the dominant WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Lesnar marched into the Show of Shows with the fans on his side.
The build to this match was terrible, with the entire fanbase against Roman Reigns headlining the show. He did not seem ready and WWE put him in many uncomfortable scenarios. Much like WrestleMania 34, it seemed a foregone conclusion that Reigns would win.
But this time, there were some very interesting wildcards. Lesnar announced that he had signed a new 3-year deal with WWE days before 'Mania, while Seth Rollins was still Mr. Money in the Bank. Suddenly, the match seemed more exciting. And boy, did it deliver.
The rabid crowd in Santa Clara was out for the Big Dog's blood, as they cheered for every suplex that Brock Lesnar hit. The Beast was so dominant, showing off a variety of suplexes and strikes in his arsenal. He hit Reigns with 3 F5s, including one 30 seconds into the match.
This was the match where Lesnar bellowed, "Suplex city b****", making it even more legendary. However, Roman Reigns fought back thanks to a rare mistake from Lesnar. He hit a multitude of Superman Punches and Spears but the Beast kicked out. One F5 later, and both men were down in the middle of the ring.
Then, out came Seth Rollins. He cashed in his briefcase and made the main event of WrestleMania a triple threat, making history in more ways than one. After a hot sequence, Rollins pinned Reigns to win the WWE Title. This had the fans on their feet. What a classic ending to a rollercoaster of a match.
Hopefully, Brock Lesnar's WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre this year is more like Lesnar vs Reigns I, and less like Lesnar vs Reigns II.
