The only thing taking away the glory of the match was that it was overshadowed by Lesnar's feud against Roman Reigns. The finish, though terrific, wasn't satisfactory for a first-time clash between the two superstars.
#3. The Beast Incarnate defeated Finn Balor - Royal Rumble 2019
Lesnar has the unique ability to put over other superstars without himself getting defeated. The biggest cases of such are his matches against relatively smaller stars like AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan.
This was also the case when Finn Balor became the number 1 contender for Lesnar's Universal Championship. The classic “David vs Goliath” trope delivered well at the Royal Rumble 2019 premium live event, as their match was no less than a spectacle.
Finn Balor performed a Coup de Grâce on Lesnar for a near fall. However, Lesnar regained the momentum and applied a Kimura Lock, forcing Balor to tap out.
