The pinnacle of McMahon family drama in WWE

What is better than having one McMahon in a WrestleMania match? Two McMahons in a WrestleMania match! In all seriousness though, the soap opera storyline between Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon was extremely hot and compelling. This was the absolute peak of the McMahon family saga. Father and son battled it out in a brutal street fight, with mother and daughter at ringside.

The wrestling was average, but what made this match was the story that was told in the lead-up and on the night itself. Where else would you hear over 65,000 people go absolutely mental for a 50-year-old woman standing up?

Linda McMahon rising from her wheelchair garnered a spectacular pop, as she helped Shane defeat the evil head of the company, and their family. This was a sports entertainment spectacle of the finest order.

#2 Vince McMahon vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 22)

Props to Vince for taking such a devastating spot

While the drama of the Vince vs Shane match was through the roof, Shawn Michaels carried his boss to a pretty good match over here. This was another entertaining brawl involving Vince McMahon at WrestleMania, possibly his best.

This match was not short of a story though, with a bunch of outsiders interfering at the aid of the chairman. Among them was Shane O'Mac himself, five years after besting his dad at the 'Showcase of the Immortals'.

The Heart Break Kid overcame all the interference, laying out Vince in the most satisfying way. He was left helpless, with a trash can over his entire upper body, as Michaels hit a Showstopper Elbow from a pretty tall ladder and sent Mr McMahon through a table.

One Sweet Chin Music, later put the boss out of his misery, ending what was his finest WrestleMania match. No surprise that it came against Mr WrestleMania himself.
