#17 Baron Corbin (2017)
Baron Corbin became the third and last person to fail to cash in the Money in the Bank successfully. In 2017, it appeared as if WWE was gearing Baron Corbin up for a big push. The suspicions and the rumours were confirmed when Baron Corbin won the Men's Money in the Bank ladder match.
He has proven numerous times that he can deliver on big occasions but in this particular situation, he failed in a big way. The loss sent his career downwards on the spiral from which he is yet to recover.
He cashed in the Money in the Bank contract against Jinder Mahal, but a distraction by John Cena from the outside saw him rolled up to lose the match when the Modern Day Maharaja took advantage.

#16 Alberto Del Rio
CM Punk faced John Cena in a match at SummerSlam, where Triple H supervised the bout between the two as the referee. After a controversial decision, it appeared CM Punk had won the WWE Championship to become the Undisputed Champion, but it was not to be.
Kevin Nash attacked CM Punk, something no one had expected or seen coming. Nash hit Punk with a Jack-Knife Powerbomb and left him lying in the middle of the ring. Alberto Del Rio came out, seizing the opportunity to cash in her Money in the Bank briefcase.
Del Rio won the Championship after a kick to the skull, but his reign as the Champion was short-lived. Del Rio played hot potato with the title over the coming weeks with CM Punk and John Cena. His Championship reign had little impact, as he was no more than a placeholder.
