#13 The Miz (2010)

The Miz pinned Randy Orton to become the WWE Champion

The Miz won the Money in the Bank briefcase in a match where no one had expected he would win. The A-list superstar was not known for his in-ring capabilities back in the day and was a hated Superstar.

Randy Orton had been forced to face Wade Barrett for two nights in a row. Nexus had attacked him prior to his match against the Englishman on Raw. Orton was still able to get by with a victory, but he was not ready for what came next.

The Miz came out and cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase. Although Orton put up a good fight, it was not nearly enough to fend off the Miz. The Miz won, and went on to have a successful title reign, and even defended it against John Cena at WrestleMania.

#12 Carmella (2018)

Carmella cashed in the Money in the Bank briefcase on Charlotte the night after WrestleMania

Carmella became the Money in the Bank briefcase winner for the first time in her career under controversial circumstances. Ellsworth's help in her first win meant she had to compete in another Money in the Bank match, which she won by her own merit.

Carmella held on to the briefcase for nearly a year, before she finally cashed it in on Charlotte the SmackDown Live after WrestleMania.The IIconics had weakened Charlotte before Carmella finally made her decision. Heading into the Money in the Bank pay-per-view she is still the champion.
