The Shield pretty much dominated right from the first day they stepped foot into the WWE, as the Hounds of Justice destroyed every single man who dared to step in their way, including legends such as The Undertaker, John Cena, and Kane.
In 2013, after it was revealed that The Shield initially started out as CM Punk's mercenaries in the WWE, all three men were awarded with respective title matches with Dean Ambrose beating Kofi Kingston for the US Title, whereas, Rollins and Reigns formed an exciting and dynamic new tag team and captured the WWE Tag Titles from Team Hell No.

What followed next was sheer dominance from The Shield, as not only did all three men defend their titles simultaneously, but the WWE finally had a power stable and a power tag team in their ranks- in the form of Reigns and Rollins' duo.
The two Sheild buddies would go on to successfully defend their tag titles against the like of Team Hell No, Daniel Bryan & Randy Orton, and even against The Usos as well, before eventually losing it to the team of Cody Rhodes and Goldust.
