#3 Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar (WWE WrestleMania 35)
WWE WrestleMania 35 saw Seth Rollins capture the WWE Universal Championship for the first time in a high octane, rapid fire opening match on the show.
Seth Rollins earned the opportunity to challenge Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship by winning the 2019 Men's Royal Rumble match. After Rollins chose to face Lesnar at WrestleMania, the duo quickly engaged in a rivalry on WWE television.
Prior to the match, there was much speculation about Universal Champion Brock Lesnar's future with WWE. Lesnar's contract was set to expire after WrestleMania 35 and many expected The Beast to once again re-join the UFC.
Brock Lesnar even appeared at a UFC event in 2018. Lesnar entered the Octogon and confronted UFC Heavyweight Champion Daniel Cormier, fuelling rumors of a potential superfight between the two for the UFC Heavyweight Championship.
To kick off WrestleMania 35, host Alexa Bliss welcomed the WWE Universe to the event and brought out WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan to a thunderous ovation from the WWE Universe. However, Bliss and Hogan were quickly interrupted by Paul Heyman who stormed to the ring.
Heyman announced that as Brock Lesnar was not scheduled to be in the main event of WrestleMania 35, Lesnar had demanded that he defend his Universal Championship first on the show.
This led to Seth Rollins and Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship bout kicking off WrestleMania 35. The capacity crowd of 82,265 fans was white hot with excitement for this huge opening match of the show.
Shockingly, the match lasted all of 180 seconds. After Lesnar quickly gained control, Seth Rollins hit The Beast with a low blow. This was followed by 3 Curbstomps for an incredibly quick victory to by Seth Rollins to become the new WWE Universal Champion.
