#2 Seth Rollins vs The Miz vs Finn Balor (WWE WrestleMania 34)

Seth Rollins, Finn Balor and The Miz opened WrestleMania 34 with a triple threat match for the Intercontinental Championship

WWE WrestleMania 34 saw Seth Rollins capture the WWE Intercontinental Championship for the first time in his career. In turn, he became the 18th Grand Slam Champion in WWE history.

After Intercontinental Champion The Miz failed to win the Elimination Chamber match in February 2018, the champion demanded an opponent for WrestleMania 34. This led to Seth Rollins accepting the challenge and defeating The Miz on Monday Night RAW. Furthermore, this also led to Finn Balor accepting The Miz's challenge and also defeating him on Monday Night RAW.

RAW General Manager Kurt Angle then announced that The Miz would defend the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania 34 against Seth Rollins and Finn Balor in a triple threat match.

The Miz vs Seth Rollins vs Finn Balor for the Intercontinental Championship opened the main card of WrestleMania 34. The match featured a tremendous amount of fast paced, high octane action, generating a terrific reaction and noise from the WWE Universe in attendance.

In the closing moments of the match, Finn Balor hit The Miz with his Coup de Grace finishing move. However, Seth Rollins quickly interjected and hit a Curbstomp on Balor on top of The Miz's brone body. This then allowed Rollins to hit The Miz with another Curbstomp to win the match and become WWE Intercontinental Champion for the first time in his career.

The match was widely praised by critics and members of the WWE Universe as being one of the best WrestleMania opening matches in the history of the event.
