WWE WrestleMania 31 saw Seth Rollins participate in one of the greatest WrestleMania moments in WWE history. He completed the "heist of the century" to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the first time in his career.

After losing to Randy Orton earlier on during the WrestleMania 31 event, many members of the WWE Universe certainly didn't expect to see Seth Rollins again during the broadcast.

However, during the scheduled main event of Brock Lesnar defending the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against 2015 Royal Rumble winner Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins' music suddenly began to play.

The WWE Universe was shocked when Seth Rollins suddenly appeared and began to sprint to the ring. With both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns down after a brutal match, Seth Rollins officially cashed in his Money in the Bank contract.

Rollins hit Roman Reigns with a brutal Curbstomp and pinned his former Shield partner to become the WWE World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. The new champion quickly escaped the ring and sprinted up to the top of the ramp, before celebrating with his new championship.

Seth Rollins had become the first superstar in WWE history to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at WrestleMania. WWE commentator Michael Cole iconically described Rollins' shocking championship victory as the "heist of the century."
