Finn Balor could use the MITB briefcase to return to the top

When he joined the main roster, Finn Balor was being presented as a huge deal. He was the number five pick in the WWE Draft and became the first ever Universal Champion. However, a shoulder injury from the title match meant that he had to immediately relinquish the title. He would never reach such heights again. But it could all change at Money in the Bank.

The former Bullet Club leader could return to the main event scene on Raw using the briefcase. He is a solid shout because of his sneakiness, you never know when the Demon is lurking in the shadows. The briefcase could make him a more mysterious figure.

Balor is versatile and would be a fantastic heel even though he hasn't been one in WWE yet. There is a lot of potential in a heel turn if he ever does turn. It would be very interesting to see Finn Balor with the Money in the Bank briefcase waiting for the perfect moment to strike and grab the title that he never lost.

Character development is never a bad thing and that's what we should see with Balor, as he is getting more and more frustrated at not being anywhere close to his title.

Finn Balor's cash-in: The Universal title scene is set to be occupied by Brock Lesnar, The Shield members and Braun Strowman until WrestleMania, meaning that Balor will keep hold of the contract until after the Show of Shows. He announces his cash-in ahead of time on the Universal Champion for Backlash, with the return of the Demon.

It could be either Seth Rollins or Braun Strowman Balor cashes in on. Come Backlash, Demon Balor wins the Universal title following outside interference from The Club, who return to Raw in the Superstar Shakeup. Finn Balor permanently unites with Anderson and Gallows, finally turning heel in the process.
