Ranking the 7 greatest WrestleMania sets of all time

Which of the WrestleMania sets were the best?

#1 WrestleMania 29

Absolutely majestic

It’s a shame that one of the greatest WrestleMania stages was built for what many consider one of the worst WrestleManias of all time, but the facts are the facts.

The WWE went all out transforming the MetLife Stadium into a beautiful entrance stage that not only was on a larger scale than any stage they’ve ever constructed, but it paid homage to the state that meant a lot to a lot of wrestlers over the years.

Though the show took place in East Rutherford, New Jersey, the entire stage was based solely on New York City and it looked great.

The actual entrance stage was engulfed by the massive Brooklyn Bridge replica the WWE created which had pictures and displays reminiscent of the New York Skyline at the top of the replica.

The level of detail that went into making MetLife Stadium feel like a miniature New York was incredible and that was only the entrance stage and the Titantron. In the ring, the WWE did a similar move to WrestleMania 28 as they outfitted the ring with a structure at the top of all the lights and screens.

But what really made it stand out from WrestleMania 28 were the supporting pillars designed to look like buildings, the skyscrapers with the WrestleMania logos, and the Statue of Liberty replica which sat at the top of it.

It’s a shame that the pay-per-view wasn’t a good as the set design because it would’ve made for a great show, a great set, and a great crowd. Despite this, WrestleMania 29 will go down in history for two positive reasons. One, for being one of the most profitable WrestleManias of all time, and for the greatest WrestleMania set of all time.
