Raquel Rodriguez (real name: Victoria González) is an American professional wrestler of Mexican descent. Born on January 12, 1991, she is the daughter of former wrestler Ricky “Desperado” Gonzalez. Before pursuing a career in wrestling, Rodriguez played basketball professionally during her high school and college years. She initially played for the Texas A&M–Kingsville Javelinas while attending Texas A&M University–Kingsville. In 2013, she transferred to Sam Houston State University, where she advanced her basketball career and graduated with a degree in Mass Communication.

Upon retiring from basketball, Raquel Rodriguez joined WWE and debuted at an NXT live event in January 2017 under her real name. In July, she adopted the ring name Reina González and participated in the inaugural Mae Young Classic tournament. She later rebranded as Raquel González on WWE’s NXT brand and rose to prominence by winning the NXT Women's Championship once and the NXT Women's Tag Team Championship twice. In June 2022, she made her main roster debut as Raquel Rodriguez and went on to become a three-time WWE Women's Tag Team Champion.

What is Raquel Rodriguez’s finisher?

According to the SmackDown Hotel, Raquel Rodriguez’s finisher is the Texana Bomb. While competing on the NXT brand, the move was originally called the Chingona Bomb. However, the name was later changed to the Tejana Bomb after Rodriguez was drafted to the main roster due to concerns about its connotation. In this maneuver, Rodriguez hoists her opponent using one arm and drives them into the mat. Because of its technique, the move bears a strong resemblance to a powerbomb, which is why it is also known as a one-arm powerbomb or a scoop lift powerbomb.

Before utilizing this finishing move, Rodriguez employed the Tequila Shot or Fireman's Cutter. She first incorporated this move during her debut match on January 20, 2017. However, Rodriguez stopped using this maneuver on February 15, 2020, as mentioned by the SmackDown Hotel.
