Daniel Bryan is one of the most popular superstars on the roster. His yes movement was so popular that WWE had to change their plans for Wrestlemania 30. However, the current version of Daniel Bryan does not deserve an 88.

WWE cleared Bryan to return to in-ring action this February. His return match at Wrestlemania saw him kick out of 2 finishers and win the match. But after that, he hasn't had many wins under his belt.
Most of his matches after his return ended in Disqualifications. He lost to Rusev at SmackDown and Miz at Summerslam. He lost all his last 3 PPV matches. An 85-86 would have been sufficient for the current version Bryan.
