It's become a joke now, but it also tells us just how special The Big Show is. Always a company man, he is never reluctant to do what WWE asks him to.
The Big Show goes from babyface to heel to babyface to heel in a matter of days, and this time, we saw him assume a heel role because it fits the situation in the best possible manner. Let's just say that Paul Heyman hasn't spent as much time on his character as he has done with others like Becky Lynch and/or Seth Rollins.
While his immense size has been mentioned before, it also played a part when it came to him portraying a heel role in this particular match, because for once, Drew McIntyre was the smaller man, and he had to overcome the odds to pick up the big victory. And while you could say that The Big Show was himself, and not really a heel, in this case, only a bad guy would slap the WWE Champion to get a title match.
