In the business of professional wrestling, you only rise to the top on the backs of other performers. We all know that The Big Show was instrumental in mentoring Braun Strowman and even putting him on the map during their iconic rivalry with one another, on RAW, some time back. The fact that he is the Universal Champion right now hinges on the fact that The Big Show proved to us why Braun Strowman is a really big deal.

And much like the Universal Champion, the WWE Champion now has reason to thank The Big Show for putting him over as well. While the outcome was obvious to all and sundry, the fact of the matter is that The Big Show is a big deal to fans across the world, and for Drew McIntyre to defeat him shortly after defeating The Beast Incarnate is a very big deal.
It will indicate to the world that the brand new champion isn't a pushover to be trifled with but is an individual to be revered.
