RAW Retort - Big Show's big return

I cannot say if Big E was supposed to win the WWE poll, but he sure blew it out of the park. Honestly, I figured that Miz would eke I in the poll, so I was floored when Big E won by a landslide.

Further, Big E did not just win through the WWE App, he won through his ring work. Okay, so he did not actually win the match, but I do not think that matters at this point. I think that Big E work in the ring with Orton will help lead to the big the push that Big E deserves. Hopefully the powers that be in the WWE really took notice of the voting, Big E’s ring work, and how the fans of reacted to him.

Turning Big E face was the smartest thing the WWE could do for the man, but this match was the second smartest thing. There was only one slight botch in the match, and I can chalk that up to Big E still being slightly green. Beyond that point, I was in awe. I can’t wait to see what he has in store for us next.

Why Summer Rae, why?

I honestly do not know why the WWE keeps putting Summer Rae in the ring. I know the best way for her to learn is to actually do it, but she needs to do it in dark matches. There is a number of wrestlers that I would prefer not to see in the ring each week, but Summer Rae tops that list.

The only person I can think of who is worse in the ring than Summer Rae is Eva Marie. I am thrilled to see Tyson back in the ring, and while he did look a little rusty, I think a few matches and he will be golden.

I hope seeing him back on RAW with Nattie is a step in the right direction for him, and I will keep my fingers crossed. I will also continue to hope that the two of them will continue to be pushed, together and as singles.

Sandow grows

It seems to me that Sandow is growing quite a bit right now, and it looks great on him. As great as Zeb is on mic, for me it was Sandow who was so much better in this segment. It bothers me that he lost his Money In The Bank Cashing Match, but I think this is the start of a huge push for this very talented man.

Cena for a great cause

I have to admit I rolled my eyes a bit when Cena got on the mic. It’s not that I am not thrilled that he is back, I am, but I really wanted to see his match. I knew that the match was going to be spectacular, so I wanted to see that, but then I heard what Cena was talking about, and I was great with it. Susan G.

Komen Foundation is a great thing that does so much for people with breast cancer and their families. I’m so happy that the WWE is working with them again this year, and will be keeping the pink merchandize in the ShopZone through the year. That will help earn a lot of money for a great cause.

Yes, Cena was a huge part of that great match as well, but again, it was Goldust and Cody shone in a huge way. I cannot get over how the two of them keep outdoing themselves.

Goldust should not be able to work the ring as well as he does, yet he shows us more each and every week. And Cody is growing and changing into a better wrestler right in front of our eyes. Adding Cena into that match only sealed the deal for match of the night.

I’m still down on Swagger, and I don’t see that changing, but I was thrilled by Sandow’s work in this match, and even more than after Smackdown, I want to see a feud between Cesaro and Cena. Those two men have a chemistry in that ring that few have. I know Cena is feuding with Sandow right now, and ADR is in the background, but I want to see what Cena and Cesaro could do together, on mic and in the ring.
