As Alundra Blayze made her way out to the arena, she headed over to the commentary desk and prompted to throw the 24/7 Championship into a trash can. Much like she did with the WWF Women's Championship back in the day when she threw it into a trash can in WCW of all places.
However, on this occasion, Blayze wasn't able to throw the 24/7 Championship, as she was interrupted by Ted Dibiase, who then bought the 24/7 Title from Blayze, much like he had previously bought the WWF Championship back in the day. Indeed a unique way to win the title for Dibiase.

However, the night eventually ended how it began, as Truth once again pinned Maverick via roll-up to win back the 24/7 Championship, as he exited the arena with Maverick's wife Renee Michelle.
