WWE Superstar Roman Reigns recently secured a massive victory over Solo Sikoa’s Bloodline at the Survivor Series Premium Live Event in a WarGames match. However, despite this victory, the list of The OTC’s enemies still has no end to it. Interestingly, the ending of a temporary truce could now see Reigns stand against CM Punk.
The Best in the World had made it clear that he teamed up with Roman Reigns at the request of Paul Heyman. However, neither Punk nor Reigns were in the mood to act like buddies despite joining hands together. Tensions between the two top superstars were also visible during the match when The OTC didn’t allow The Second City Saint to enter the WarGames match at a point.
Moreover, The Head of the Table also accidentally hit The Second City Saint with a spear despite the latter saving the former from a Tsunami off the top of the cage by Bronson Reed. Now, The Straight Edge Superstar could bring the fight to Roman Reigns and settle the tensions they have with each other.
With The Usos purportedly out injured and Sami Zayn locked in a feud with Drew McIntyre, Reigns won’t have any help when CM Punk comes to find him. While this is a significantly possible direction WWE can take, all of this is speculation so far.
Roman Reigns can take the fight to CM Punk as well
The OG Bloodline had a very difficult time finding a fifth member for their team to compete in the WarGames match at Survivor Series. With almost every superstar denying to join The OTC who had ruled WWE with an iron fist, Punk joined the team on a condition.
The Straight Edge Superstar will be receiving a huge favor from Paul Heyman for helping Roman Reigns win a much-needed match after his Crown Jewel defeat. So far, Punk hasn’t revealed what The Wiseman had offered to him to help The OTC. However, the Hall of Famer will likely have to pay a heavy price for it.
This was probably the reason why Heyman didn’t divulge the details of the favor to The Head of the Table. But, once the veil is lifted, Reigns could stand in Punk’s way from receiving the favor promised by The Wiseman.
This way, The Original Tribal Chief will protect Paul Heyman while also possibly kick off a feud with CM Punk in motion. It is no secret that Reigns is protective of his Wiseman and already doesn’t like The Second City Saint. Thus, the next chapter for Punk and The Tribal Chief could be with each other in the squared circle.
It would be interesting if these two men came to blows because of the very man who had united them at the Survivor Series.
