We are all set for an exciting edition of Money in the Bank 2024, in which the biggest stars from RAW and SmackDown compete inside the squared circle for the top prizes. WWE has confirmed five matches for the premium live event, which aligns with the recent trend of prioritizing quality over quantity.

Two current champions will put their respective titles on the line at Money in the Bank. Additionally, 12 superstars from the men's and women's divisions have qualified to compete for the MITB briefcase in highly anticipated ladder matches. Finally, there is a huge bout featuring Cody Rhodes and The Bloodline, which many hope will be a setup for Roman Reigns' return.

Here, we look at a few last-minute predictions for Money in the Bank 2024. So, without further ado, let's begin.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

#1 Randy Orton turns on Cody Rhodes after match against The Bloodline

Cody Rhodes is not scheduled for a title defense at Money in the Bank. Instead, he will compete in a six-man tag team match, joining forces with Kevin Owens and Randy Orton to take on The Bloodline. The American Nightmare is determined to end Solo Sikoa's tyrant reign as the Tribal Chief, but he may also have to keep an eye on The Viper.

Randy Orton and Cody Rhodes share a long history dating back to the latter's first run in WWE. The Legend Killer lost the King of the Ring final to Gunther, missing out on a championship match at SummerSlam. Over the past couple of weeks, he has been eyeing the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown and could turn on Cody Rhodes after their match at Money in the Bank to set up a huge title feud ahead of SummerSlam.

#2 Bron Breakker pins Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank

One of the two title matches scheduled for the upcoming premium live event will see Bron Breakker challenge Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship. After ending Gunther's historic reign, Zayn won the title at WrestleMania and has since established himself as a fighting champion on RAW. He granted Breakker the title opportunity because he grew tired of the former NXT Champion ruthlessly destroying everyone in his path.

Bron Breakker has been booked phenomenally since moving to RAW, as Triple H has left no stone unturned in showcasing him as a powerhouse. Fans are interested in seeing where it goes for him on the red brand, and WWE could get many more invested by having Bron Breakker win his first title on the main roster this weekend.

Zayn can afford to lose the title, and a win for Breakker could put him on a path of unparalleled dominance on RAW.

#3 Dominik Mysterio betrays Damian Priest during the title match

Damian Priest is scheduled to put his World Heavyweight Championship on the line against Seth Rollins at Money in the Bank, but that's not all. If he loses his title, The Archer of Infamy must also leave The Judgment Day per a gentleman's agreement between him and The Architect. Agreeing to this bet has rapidly fuelled the tension amidst The Judgment Day, with many hoping that Finn Balor will soon turn on Priest.

It is expected that The Prince or his potential new ally, Liv Morgan, could cost Priest his title. However, WWE could also have Dominik Mysterio betray Priest and orchestrate his exit from Judgment Day.

Priest has repeatedly questioned Dirty Dom's credibility on RAW and his loyalty toward Rhea Ripley, and he could respond with a shocking betrayal at the upcoming PLE.

#4 Chad Gable reveals new Alpha Academy members

Chad Gable was the victim of The Wyatt Sicks when the Uncle Howdy-led faction made its debut on WWE RAW. The Alpha Academy leader found himself alone while being targeted, especially after his recent actions forced Otis, Maxxine Dupri, and Akira Tozawa to break ties with him and reject Gable's pleas to bring them back.

The Alpha Academy leader is set to compete in the Men's Money in the Bank Ladder Match. It is expected that The Wyatt Sicks could cost him a potential win, and that may be the best time to reveal The Creed Brothers and Ivy Nile as Chad Gable's newest allies.

WWE has hinted at this alliance before, and it will be interesting to see if the new faction will retain the name The Alpha Academy.

#5 Trish Stratus interferes in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Match

WWE has revealed Trish Stratus as the official host for Money in the Bank 2024 in Toronto, Canada. Fans are excited to see the Hall of Famer back in the promotion, even if it's for one show. Stratus recently addressed potential retirement rumors and said she and Lita stay ready if they get a call.

The legendary women's champion could make a statement by interfering in the Women's Money in the Bank Ladder match featuring her former friend-turned-foe Zoey Stark.

Stratus could also help prevent intervention from others like Piper Niven or Nia Jax and act as a face if she is to appear on only one show.
