As The Bloodline storyline continues in WWE, there has been speculation on whether more members of the Anoa'i family will join the Stamford-based company on the blue brand. While The Bloodline saga has not involved a female member of the roster so far, there are female stars who could be introduced down the line.
One such person is WWE legend Rikishi's niece, Vaughan Anoa'i, who was recently linked to a move to the company. However, her uncle denied these reports. Vaughan is already quite the athlete, having played volleyball for the Gerogetown University.
"I don’t see her joining WWE and the wrestling business. If, by some miracle, she convinced her dad [Black Pearl] and mom to go into the wrestling business, maybe. But I always tell our kids, ‘Go do something else, but always know it’s there,'" Rikishi said on his podcast.
The Bloodline storyline has seen new members of the Samoan and Tongan clans signing with WWE, including Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa and Jacob Fatu, who have sided with Solo Sikoa against Roman Reigns so far.
Rikishi opens up about The Bloodline storyline and how he wants WWE to use Jacob Fatu
Rikishi has been quite vocal about The Bloodline storyline over the past few months. Things are expected to intensify now that Roman Reigns is back after his four-month hiatus since WrestleMania XL.
The WWE legend recently shared his thoughts on the storyline again and how he wants the creative team to use Solo Sikoa, and especially Jacob Fatu, against The Original Tribal Chief.
"I think he can go either way. It just depends on, you know, which way that — I guess it depends which way the GOAT [Reigns] feels. Either way, whether he goes with Jacob, that'll be good; whether he goes with Solo, we all know that's going to be good. But I feel that Jacob has momentum right now. Solo is a made guy already, and so with Jacob, he has momentum, but if we throw him right now to Roman, I feel we're rushing him. I feel that Jacob should just terrorize, do regular TV matches with different talent, just because Jacob has yet to show his wrestling ability [to the WWE audience]," Rikishi said on his podcast, via Wrestling Inc.
The Hall of Famer, who has often been linked with the faction as the possible Wiseman, will see Solo and Fatu team up to face Reigns and the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood on October 5th.
