As reported before, Paul Heyman's WWE contract expired back in May and he hasn't re-signed with the company yet. It’s seen as the possible reason behind WWE not mentioning his name along with his on-screen client Brock Lesnar during the WWE drafts. This has created lots of rumors about what’s holding up WWE from closing the deal as Brock is scheduled to face Randy Orton at SummerSlam. And they’ll soon need the Advocate of the Beast to promote his match.Allwrestlingnews.com is reporting that the possible reason behind the contract dispute between both parties are the projects Paul Heyman will be doing outside of the company. It's notable here that Paul signed a deal with Yahoo Sports back in March to produce some exclusive content for them. He also recently announced a TV show featuring himself which will be based on his Marketing company. However, we note here that Pro Wrestling Sheet is reporting that despite the fact that Paul hasn’t resigned with the company yet, they are supposed to sign an agreement before Summerslam so he could still appear with Lesnar during the PPV.Still, since it's WWE, it will still be too early to say anything about the future of the former ECW chief with the company.
