5 reasons why Randy Orton will lose the title at WWE Elimination Chamber 2014

Viper or Duck?

Batista vs. Orton doesn’t ring any bell

Been there done that

Been there done that

We’ve seen it many times, we’ve seen them from their Evolution days, we’ve seen Batista getting an RKO; we’ve seen Orton getting a Batista bomb, we’ve seen everything.

So another Orton-Batista match would just be another repetition of what we’ve seen in the past. And since the Batista’s return hasn’t worked well as the WWE planned putting him in the WrestleMania main event against an already stale Orton would make least sense.

The fact that Batista isn’t the same guy he used to be four years ago adds also makes this a good decision as he won’t be able to pull of another great match with Orton. If it was a Hell in a Cell or TLC pay-per-view an Orton vs. Batista match would’ve been good enough, but for the thirtieth anniversary of WrestleMania, it sounds too risky to be put on the match card.
