With the aforementioned Usos running roughshod over the SmackDown tag team division, they are running out of potential challengers. However, there are plenty of challengers for them beyond the blue brand; none more exciting than Rollins and Owens.

The two teams faced off on SmackDown a few weeks ago, with the Usos losing via disqualification. However, should the newest entrants in the RAW Tag Team Championship match end up winning their match, the stage could be set for a rematch.

The clash will most certainly be a must-see spectacle with high stakes and drama involved. Add in the potential Roman Reigns factor, and WWE have a gold mine on their hands.

#1 It could sow the seeds for their eventual separation

If there’s one thing we know about WWE, it’s that no tag team in WWE lasts forever. They all break up one way or another, whether it is in slow-burn style or as sudden impact.

The same fate awaits Rollins and Owens at some point. Tensions will rise, and they will part ways. Given the nature of the two superstars, one will most certainly turn on the other, and that’s where the RAW tag team titles come in.

If the duo are champions, their greed and ego will be unbearable. When they lose the titles, one of them will blame the other for their defeat. Cue a few more unsuccessful attempts to take the titles back and there will be the scenario of one wrestler turning on the other.
