Recent revelation discloses WWE star Seth Rollins losing to Damian Priest: What is it? 

Seth Rollins returned to Monday Night RAW on June 17, 2024, and it was one of the most unexpected moments of the show. The cherry on top is that 'The Visionary' opened the show, setting the momentum for the night and it did not disappoint! The latest episode of Monday Night RAW had quite a few moments in store for the WWE Universe, and Rollins' and Priest's segment was one of them.

In the opening segment, The Visionary and The Archer of Infamy exchanged heated words about their legacies. However, Damian Priest acknowledged he wanted to cash in on Seth Rollins but settled for Drew McIntyre since the opportunity presented itself. Nevertheless, The Archer of Infamy does wish to battle The Visionary in a title match and offered one for Money in the Bank. The former World Heavyweight Champion accepted, sparking online bets for the title match.

Online betting platform BetOnline has opened the betting lines for Seth Rollins vs. Damian Priest. As per the bets up until now (which are subject to change), The Archer of Infamy is favored to win over The Visionary. Of course, the bets are not just about Priest being favored to win, but it's also what WWE fans believe the company will work towards.

The Judgment Day member secured the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania XL, and his booking as a champion hasn't been extraordinary. Nonetheless, WWE has the room to book him in better angles, and Seth Rollins' return can be one. It's unlikely Priest will drop the title to The Visionary in their first match with the gold on the line.

Ideally, WWE will have Damian Priest work a fiery feud with either The Visionary or someone else from the roster before dropping the title. In the meantime, he might also be separated from The Judgment Day which will play a major role in his title run.

WWE star wants to become like Seth Rollins as the champion

During the latest episode of Monday Night RAW, Damian Priest appreciated the type of champion Seth Rollins was. In fact, by the end of his championship run, he was held together by a piece of tape and yet worked both nights of WrestleMania XL.

The current World Heavyweight Champion has noted Rollins as his inspiration and revealed that he wants to defend the title like The Visionary did.

"Well, for me, what's next?' What else can I accomplish? For me right now, I want to be that champion, like Seth Rollins was. I want to be a workhorse and defend the title. I want to take on everyone and anyone at any point. Like, when it comes to the roster, I want a piece of everybody. I want a piece of everybody! It's usually the opposite. If this show is going to give me love, then it's just luck for me to defend this championship successfully for as long as I can," said Priest.

So far, Damian Priest has defended the title against Jey Uso at Backlash 2024 and Drew McIntyre at Clash at the Castle 2024.
