A 34-year-old WWE Superstar was suddenly released from the company back in December 2022. While she was forced to drop a major championship before her exit, Mandy Rose may now return and challenge the WWE Women’s Champion, Tiffany Stratton.
Rose was the NXT Women’s Champion in her first reign during her final days in the Stamford-based promotion. She dropped the title to Roxanne Perez after holding it for 413 days after the company noticed a contract violation because of her FanTime content.
Interestingly, the company recently dropped a hint that Mandy Rose could make a comeback. Tiffany Stratton used one of Rose's popular lines during her address to the fans as the new WWE Women’s Champion. Moreover, when a fan account on X pointed this out, Rose even reacted to the tweet.
Since The Buff Barbie is a heel right now, the former superstar could return as a babyface. Moreover, she could return via the promotion’s comeback machine, the Royal Rumble. So far, Mandy Rose has remained tight-lipped about a potential return. While this is a significant direction in which the story can move, all of this is speculation so far.
Another former WWE champion could return and challenge Tiffany Stratton
Although Tiffany Stratton already has a lot of women looking to challenge her, another returning superstar could crash land on Tiffy’s first title run. Charlotte Flair has been away for more than 13 months since December 2023, when she injured her ACL, MCL, and meniscus.
However, The Queen has almost made a full recovery now and is reportedly going to return to the Stamford-based promotion soon.
With the 2025 Royal Rumble coming up soon, Flair would look to punch her ticket to WrestleMania 41. If The Queen wins the 30-woman contest, she would stand a chance to defeat Tiffany Stratton and become a 15-time WWE Women’s Champion. It will be interesting to see if Charlotte Flair returns and wins the Rumble in order to put an end to Tiffy Time.
