Rey Mysterio is in the middle of a feud with Chad Cable as the latter and his American Made faction have targeted the WWE Hall of Famer and LWO. In this week's pre-taped episode of Monday Night RAW, Rey Mysterio teamed up with Zelina Vega to beat Chad Gable and Ivy Nile, making a statement in the feud between the two factions.
Going forward, a superstar that could be added to the rivalry is Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men has been off WWE TV for about six weeks after suffering a torn groin during a Last Monster Standing Match against Bronson Reed on the red brand.
It seems Braun Strowman has recovered now and even appeared on SmackDown last Friday, working a dark match. The former Universal Champion came to the aid of Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee and helped them defeat the reigning RAW Tag Team Champions, Finn Balor and JD McDonagh and Dominik Mysterio in a six-man tag team match.
The Monster of All Monsters could show up next week on RAW and help Rey against Chad Gable before turning on the former and aligning with Gable and American Made.

If this sequence of events goes ahead, it would then mean that he will have a heel turn after six years and could go after the WWE Hall of Famer, who is a face.
Dominik Mysterio takes a shot at his father again; says Rey Mysterio shouldn't have become a Hall of Famer
It has been more than a year since Dominik Mysterio had a heel turn and turned on his father Rey Mysterio. Since then, father and son have collided numerous times, both in and out of the ring, as their rivalry continues.
During a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Dirty Dom took another shot at his father, saying that he shouldn't have become a Hall of Famer in 2023.
"I still don't think he was worthy of it. [The walkout] was necessary, yeah, now that you bring it up, I do remember walking out, yeah, I think it was because I felt some type of way. I don't believe he deserved to be in the Hall of Fame, at least not yet. Once he loses to me and gives, gives up his mask and stuff, then maybe, but I have no say in it," Dominik Mysterio said. Rey Mysterio has won almost every major title in WWE. He has been with the company for a cumulative 22 years (2002-2015, and 2018-onwards) now and is getting close to hanging up his boots.
Still, it is unclear what the creative team plans for him going forward, and whether a reunion with Dominik Mysterio and a face turn for Dirty Dom could ever happen.
