Montez Ford is a popular tag team known as the Street Profits alongside Angelo Dawkins on WWE SmackDown. The duo challenged the Motor City Machine Guns last Friday night on the blue brand for the WWE Tag Team Championship.
However, Tommaso Ciampa of DIY interfered in the match and caused it to end via disqualification, ruining the Street Profits' chance to capture the titles. Ford and Dawkins were visibly frustrated after failing to pick up the big win last week.
Listed below are four directions for Montez Ford following the controversial ending to the tag title match last week on SmackDown.

#4. Montez Ford could betray Angelo Dawkins on WWE SmackDown
Montez Ford has the potential to be a singles star if the Street Profits were to ever split up. The 34-year-old may be growing tired of coming up short with Angelo Dawkins and could decide to betray his tag team partner in the coming weeks.
Ford could turn heel and blame Dawkins for their team's shortcomings. The veteran could even attack his tag team partner in the weeks ahead on SmackDown, and declare that he no longer wants to be a part of the Street Profits.
#3. Ford could ask for a fresh start on RAW
The Street Profits have not had a successful year on SmackDown thus far. The duo joined Bobby Lashley's faction, The Pride, but the group was never featured prominently on WWE television. Lashley has since exited the company and is now performing for All Elite Wrestling.
Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins could approach SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis and admit that things are not working out for them on the blue brand. Aldis may agree to trade the popular stars to RAW as a way to give them a fresh start.
#2. The Street Profits could vow to remain a tag team for the rest of their careers
Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford have been part of a tag team since they debuted with WWE. However, their lack of success lately could lead to them having an honest conversation about their future on an upcoming episode of SmackDown.
Ford could share that he could not envision himself not in a tag team with Dawkins, despite having aspirations of being a singles star. The Street Profits may then agree to remain a team despite their struggles, and vow to capture the WWE Tag Tag Team Championship on SmackDown.
#1. Bianca Belair and Montez Ford could become a power couple
Bianca Belair and Montez Ford are a real-life pair and the couple got married in 2018. The EST has had a ton of success as a singles star throughout her career but is currently in a tag team with Jade Cargill. Belair and Cargill are the reigning Women's Tag Team Champions, and both will be in action in the WarGames Match next weekend at WWE Survivor Series.
Cargill and Belair could potentially break up after they lose the Women's Tag Team Championship down the line. WWE may then decide to present Belair and Ford as a power couple on SmackDown. The storyline could lead to interesting mixed tag team matches down the line against Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins, or Charlotte Flair and Andrade.
