There has been speculation that The Rock could return at SummerSlam after taking four months off following his appearance on both nights of WrestleMania 40.

After nearly a three-month stint with WWE, the legend took a four-month hiatus, due to his filming schedule. Now that filming for his new movie is over, we could see him return as early as this Saturday, August 3, in Cleveland, Ohio.

With that in mind, and with a lot of speculation surrounding his return, we take a look at three things that could happen should The Great One appear at The Biggest Party of the Summer.

#3. Confront Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes main-evented both nights of WrestleMania 40 last April while The Rock was also involved on both days, where the American Nightmare finished his story and became the Undisputed WWE Champion.

In the RAW after 'Mania, the two megastars came face to face, where the WWE legend made it clear that he would go after Rhodes and would look to dethrone him and claim the title.

As Cody Rhodes will take on Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed Championship at SummerSlam, he could appear after the match and confront the reigning champion, setting the tone for a future title match with him, as Cody is expected to retain his title.

#2. Come face-to-face with Roman Reigns

Like The Rock, Roman Reigns has taken four months off to rest after losing to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40. After 1,316 days as the Universal Champion, The Tribal Chief is now ready for the next storyline and there has been speculation that he will start a feud with Solo Sikoa.

Still, WWE has teased a feud between The Rock and Roman Reigns and if both are back at SummerSlam, we could see them come face-to-face and set the stage for a match in one of the coming Premium Live Events.

WWE could consider having a match between the two megastars at WrestleMania 41 in April 2025.

#1. Revealed as the leader of The Bloodline

Since the departure of Roman Reigns, The Bloodline has gone into an extreme makeover with Solo Sikoa taking over. Sikoa kicked Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman out of the faction while bringing in Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu.

Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline have wreaked havoc and Solo now has the chance to become the new Undisputed Champion and bring the title back to The Bloodline.

Even though Solo has been declared as the new Tribal Chief, he might not be the true leader of the faction. That said, we could see The Rock make an appearance at SummerSlam, revealing that he was behind the new version of The Bloodline.

In addition, if Roman Reigns returns on Saturday, he is set to start a civil war with Solo Sikoa and The Bloodline. Thus, if The Rock is revealed as the new leader of the faction, we expect to see a feud between the two megastars that will also include the rest of The Bloodline, as Jimmy Uso is also set to return.
