#4. LA Knight finally gets his moment

LA Knight started to become one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster at the start of 2023. The fan reaction to The Megastar became so huge that the Stamford-based company started featuring him prominently. Many fans were left disappointed when Knight did not win the Money in the Bank briefcase.

However, Knight finally got his moment at SummerSlam. He won the 25-man Slim Jim Battle Royal. This was the start of bigger things for The Megastar as he soon established himself as a top babyface in the company, challenging for the world title later as well.

This year, Knight heads into SummerSlam with a chance to win his first title on the main roster. He will be challenging Logan Paul for the United States Championship at The Biggest Party of The Summer.

#3. Jimmy Uso betrays Jey Uso

The rivalry between The Usos and The Bloodline was one of the hottest storylines of the summer of 2023. The Usos shocked the world when they defeated Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa at Money in the Bank. This eventually led to Jey Uso challenging Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship and the title of The Tribal Chief.

Jey had an impressive showing during the match. It seemed he was about to dethrone Roman Reigns when he delivered a Spear followed by a frog splash. However, this was when Jimmy Uso pulled Jey out of the pinfall and cost him the win. In a shocking heel turn, Jimmy superkicked his brother, allowing Reigns to take advantage and retain his title.

Jey Uso has since separated himself from The Bloodline and gone on to become one of the top babyfaces on Monday Night RAW.

#2. Brock Lesnar puts over Cody Rhodes

Cody Rhodes got involved in a feud with Brock Lesnar after his disappointing loss at WrestleMania 39. Both of them scored one win over each other and faced off in an intense match at the 2023 SummerSlam. In a hard-fought contest, The American Nightmare emerged victorious.

However, what stole the headlines was what happened after the match. In a surprising turn of events, Lesnar respectfully shook Rhodes' hand and raised his arm. It was a sight to behold and not something that was expected from The Beast Incarnate.

IYO SKY has proved herself to be one of the top in-ring talents in all of women's wrestling over the past several years. At SummerSlam 2023, The Genius of the Sky finally got her career-defining moment in the Stamford-based promotion.

Bianca Belair won the WWE Women's Championship in a grueling Triple Threat Match against Asuka and Charlotte Flair. However, moments later, IYO SKY came out to cash in her Money in the Bank contract. She cashed in her briefcase and delivered a stunning Moonsault to become the new Women's Champion.
