Money in the Bank is the next Premium Live Event that WWE will host and will take place next Saturday, July 6 in Toronto, Canada. The match card has yet to be finalized, but it is set to include a few great matches, like the World Heavyweight Championship clash between Damian Priest and Seth Rollins.

The main event will feature the Men's and Women's Money in the Bank Ladder Matches, where the respective winners will get a guaranteed title match. MITB has offered WWE fans great moments, and in this article, we take a look at the top seven moments of the Premium Live Event.

#7. Brock Lesnar wins the MITB briefcase out of nowhere

Mustafa Ali was seemingly set to win the MITB Ladder Match back in 2019. He was a step away from doing so, when Brock Lesnar entered the match and beat him in a few seconds to become the new Mr. Money in the Bank. He cashed in his briefcase at Extreme Rules in July 2019.

#6. Paul Heyman betrays CM Punk

Back in 2013, CM Punk was a Paul Heyman Guy. In one of his last storylines with WWE before his departure in 2014, Punk saw Heyman betray him, as the WWE Hall of Famer hit him with a ladder multiple times during the match. Punk was close to winning, but it was Randy Orton who stood tall eventually and claimed the briefcase.

Paul Heyman's actions led to a feud with CM Punk, which also featured the return of Lesnar, who sided with Heyman and battled Punk.

#5. Sin Cara leaves on a stretcher after Sheamus' powerbomb

Back in 2011, the Money in the Bank Ladder Match saw Sin Cara leaving the ring on a stretcher after Sheamus powerbombed him through a ladder. Sheamus' powerbomb broke the ladder in half, creating a highlight moment.

#4. Shield dominates the MITB Premium Live Event

Back in 2016, a unique moment took place, as all three members of The Shield held the World Championship on the same night. One of the most dominant factions in WWE history, The Shield split after Seth Rollins' betrayal, but its members remained among the top stars in WWE.

Seth Rollins defeated then-champion Roman Reigns to become the new World Heavyweight Champion. Moments after that, though, Dean Ambrose, who had won the Ladder Match an hour before the main event, stormed into the ring and cashed his briefcase in Rollins to become the new WWE World Champion.

#3. CM Punk defeats John Cena to become the new WWE Champion and leave the company

2011 Money in the Bank saw one of the biggest matches in WWE history, as John Cena put his WWE Championship on the line against CM Punk, with the Best in the World promising to win the title and leave the company.

He eventually fulfilled his promise and beat Cena in Chicago to claim the title. It was the end of an era for Vince McMahon, while Punk returned to WWE a few weeks later.

#2. John Cena returns to face Roman Reigns

John Cena and Roman Reigns came face to face at Money in The Bank in 2021, when the Cenation Leader made a surprise appearance after Reigns' title match with Edge.

Cena made his way to the ring and confronted the then-Universal Champion, setting the tone for a match at Summerslam in 2021.

#1. Liv Morgan winning the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and becoming champion on the same night

Liv Morgan made history in 2022, when she won the Money in the Bank Ladder Match and cashed in her briefcase on the same night.

Morgan emerged victorious in the Ladder Match, which opened this action in the event, and then went on to cash in on Ronda Rousey, becoming the new SmackDown Women's Champion.

It was her first-ever title reign in WWE, while she later became a Women's Tag Team Champion alongside Raquel Rodriguez, she is now once again the reigning Women's World Champion.
