#3 How Rey Mysterio’s daughter reacted to her attack on Murphy

The final match on the September 7 episode of WWE RAW saw Murphy (without Seth Rollins) take on Dominik Mysterio (with Angie, Aalyah, and Rey Mysterio) in a Street Fight.

All four Mysterio family members used kendo sticks on Murphy, who had been tied up in the ropes by Dominik, prompting the former Cruiserweight Champion to admit defeat by telling the referee that he wanted to quit.

Speaking in a WWE Network video after the show, Aalyah revealed that she “loved” the feeling of hitting Murphy with multiple kendo stick shots.

“Oh man, it was good. It definitely felt really good getting back for Dom because just watching at home and just feeling like, ‘Oh, I can’t do anything about it, you know?’ And it was just like… going today and being able to be in the ring, hitting him [Murphy] with those kendo sticks, it was awesome. I loved it.”

As is often the case when a non-wrestler performs well in WWE, there has been lots of social media speculation about Rey Mysterio’s daughter potentially becoming a WWE Superstar one day.

For what it is worth, there have been no indications from either Rey Mysterio or Aalyah about her wanting to follow in her father’s footsteps, so it remains unclear whether she plans to ever go down that route.
