One of the major talking points on RAW is Rhea Ripley's obsession with Liv Morgan and the Women's World Championship. The Eradicator is intent on taking back the title she "never lost" and beating down Morgan in the process. An added bonus is the fact that she gets to brutalize her former beau, Dominik Mysterio, along the way. On that point, could WWE take things one step further and have the two former allies go toe-to-toe on RAW in an inter-gender match?
Well, according to Joe from WrestleVotes, it has certainly been discussed. Making an appearance on a Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, Joe was asked about the possibility. He revealed that while he didn't know how high the idea had "made it," a match between Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio has been brought up.
"I know it's been brought up; unfortunately, I don't know how high it's made it. But there's a real desire on some level of creative to do this match [Rhea vs. Dom] before the angle fizzes out," he said. [24:30-24:45]
Former WWE writer buries Judgment Day HERE
Considering that there are some within WWE's creative team that desire to see the match happen before the storyline comes to an end suggests there is a chance. One thing is for sure: Rhea Ripley would love to get her hands on Dirty Dom. Not only would she be exacting revenge for what has gone down in these last few weeks, but the Australian would eliminate his threat, making her path to Liv Morgan that much easier.
That being said, though, at the end of the day, this is all speculative. Yes, the idea has been discussed, but there is no telling if WWE will pull the trigger. We will just have to wait and see what happens.
Rhea Ripley now has another problem to deal with in Raquel Rodriguez
Dealing with Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio is hard enough, but things have gotten even more difficult for Rhea Ripley following WWE Bad Blood. Raquel Rodriguez made her emphatic return in Atlanta, Georgia, and helped her good friend Morgan retain the title, although it was via disqualification. Since then, Big Mami Cool has been a problem for The Eradicator.
Every time she seems to have Morgan in a corner, Raquel Rodriguez is there to interfere. The 33-year-old has made it clear that she has beef with Ripley and is looking to settle it while also making sure The Miracle Kid stays on top. With that in mind, one thing is clear: Rhea needs to take out Raquel if she wants to become Women's World Champion once more.
It will be interesting to see how Ripley deals with the massive problem Raquel poses. But as mentioned earlier, the former Judgment Day member seems determined, and even a six-foot powerhouse like Rodriguez may not be enough to stop her from getting back to the top of the WWE Women's Divison.
