Rhea Ripley will face Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship at WWE Bad Blood on October 5, 2024. The Eradicator had the opportunity to dethrone the champion at SummerSlam 2024, but Dominik Mysterio betrayed her and spoiled her plans.
Heading into Bad Blood, the former Judgment Day member is aware that 'Dirty Dom' will use his sinister ways to help his on-screen girlfriend. To eliminate that threat, Ripley has introduced an interesting stipulation. During the match, Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring in a shark cage. The Eradicator seemingly aims to exploit Mysterio's fear of heights and closed spaces.
In an interview after this week's RAW, Ripley explained how she planned to use Mysterio's weak point to her advantage at Bad Blood.
"Dom is terrified of a lot of things. Heights is definitely one of them, so, I'm gonna give it a ten. But, he's also very, very claustrophobic, which to me is hilarious!"
It seems that the former Women's World Champion is using Mysterio's fear of heights and closed spaces to prevent him from influencing the outcome of the title match. Simultaneously, she aims to punish The Judgment Day for their recent actions.
Former WWE employee believes Rhea Ripley shouldn't be booked with Jey Uso
Dominik Mysterio moved on from The Nightmare and united with Liv Morgan following SummerSlam. However, Rhea Ripley wasn't left heartbroken either. Mami seems to be enjoying her budding alliance with Jey Uso.
Former WWE employee Tommy Carlucci believes that bringing the Intercontinental Champion and Rhea Ripley together doesn't make sense, as it may not help either of them. On Behind the Turnbuckle: The Last Word, Carlucci said:
"God knows, I do not wanna see them see her, and we talked about this a week ago, being something into a romantic storyline with Jey, which would be freaking ridiculous. It would make no sense at all. It doesn't help either one of them. So, I hope that doesn't happen."
It's only a matter of time before the WWE Universe gets to know the company's plans for Main Event Jey and the former Judgment Day member. It is speculated that Jey will be present at Bad Blood to help The Terror Twins against Liv Morgan and Finn Balor in their respective matches.
