The recently concluded episode of WWE RAW ended on a shocking note when Liv Morgan kissed Dominik Mysterio. The jaw-dropping swerve is expected to have monumental consequences, starting with Rhea Ripley's reaction to the controversial incident.
The former Women's World Champion is currently off WWE programming while recovering from her injury. However, the latest events on RAW may force Mami to break her silence and address her on-screen relationship with Dirty Dom.
Although Dominik has repeatedly pleaded innocence throughout the entire sage, it is about time Rhea Ripley ditched her Dom Dom. The former NXT North American Champion's actions have been suspicious at best and humiliating at worst, leaving Ripley with very few choices.
Dominik Mysterio's apparent betrayal
Dominik Mysterio seemingly helped Liv Morgan win the Women's World Championship and retain the title as well. Dirty Dom insisted that he was present at the 2024 King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to stop Morgan from winning the gold that belonged to Rhea Ripley but did the exact opposite. He once again "tried" to help Becky Lynch in her rematch against Liv on RAW but accidentally made it easier for Morgan to win.
The former NXT North American Champion's repeated errors may irk Rhea Ripley to a point beyond redemption. His repeated interference, coupled with secret backstage meetings, have added to the long list of offenses in Mami's absence, something the latter would not appreciate.
Liv Morgan kisses Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW
Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio came face-to-face at the ramp following the former's title defense against Becky Lynch. The current Women's World Champion stared at The Judgment Day member before kissing him as the show went off the air.
Although the kiss seemed one-sided, there is no denying that Dominik will have to face the aftermath. A publicly disrespectful action like this would ideally lead to Rhea Ripley dumping her Latino Heat when she returns to the Stamford-based promotion.
Rhea Ripley returns as a top babyface in WWE
Speaking of return, there is no concrete update on when Rhea Ripley could be back on WWE TV. Mami suffered a shoulder injury in April 2024 and there are speculations about her potential return at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event later this year.
Regardless of when Mami is back on television, she is bound to return as one of the company's biggest babyfaces. Ditching Dominik Mysterio would allow her to move on from The Judgment Day and pursue an interesting new chapter on WWE RAW as she starts hunting Liv Morgan for the Women's World Championship.
