Trevor Dean Mann is an American Professional Wrestler, who is currently signed with WWE under the ring name Ricochet. He is considered as one of the greatest highflyers of all time. Ricochet started his professional wrestling career in 2003 at Chaos Pro Wrestling. He has worked for various wrestling promotions and independent circuits most notably Dragon Gate, Dragon Gate USA, DDT Pro Wrestling, New Japan Pro Wrestling, Chikara, Evolve, Pro Wrestling Guerilla, Lucha Underground, etc. He had seven years long tenure in Dragon Gate USA, eight years in Pro Wrestling Guerilla, six years in Dragon Gate, five years in NJPW, and four years in Lucha Underground before joining WWE.

Ricochet signed with WWE in January 2018 and made his debut at the NXT brand at NXT TakeOver: Philadelphia. His first televised match was in April at Take Over New Orleans, where he participated in the Six-Man Ladder Match for the inaugural North America Championship, but was unsuccessful. He had a long feud with Velveteen Dream to prove who is the better performer, where the real hype of Ricochet began. Ricochet won the battle at NXT TakeOver” Chicago II to end their feud. Ricochet soon changed his focus on the NXT North American Champion Adam Cole and The Undisputed Era. Ricochet challenged Adam Cole for the North American Championship at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn IV and won the NXT North American Championship. Ricochet then aligned himself with Pete Dunne (now Butch), & The War Raiders (now The Vaiking Riders) and defeated The Undisputed Era in a WarGames Match. Ricochet successfully defended the championships against his opponents and finally dropped his title to Johnny Gargano after 161 days reign. He then had a tag team alliance with Aleister Black and then left NXT to join the main roster.

Ricochet made his main roster debut in February 2019 on Raw to team up with Finn Balor to face Bobby Lashley & Lio Rush. Ricochet again started aligning with Black and had pursuits for the Raw Tag Team Championship and SmackDown Tag Team Championship, but they were unsuccessful in their pursuit. On June 23, Ricochet defeated Samoa Joe and became the United States Champion, marking his first championship win in the main roster. He lost his championship to AJ Styles three weeks later. Ricochet then had various championship pursuits for a long time, but was unsuccessful. He challenged Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship at WWE Super ShowDown and failed to capture the title. After which Ricochet was booked as a jobber for a long time and was booked to be defeated by his opponents.

Ricochet was then drafted to SmackDown, where he confronted the new Intercontinental Champion and challenged for the title shot. Ricochet fought Zayn the following week and won the Intercontinental Championship with the help of Johnny Knoxville. With that Ricochet became the first person to hold all the three secondary championships of the company. He successfully defended his championship against Angel Garza, Humberto Carillo, Jinder Mahal, Shanky and finally dropped to Gunther after 98 days reigns. Ricochet then formed a tag team with Braun Strowman, and then got drafted to Raw as one. After Strowman went to treat his injury Ricochet became a singles wrestler again and performed a career redefining performance at SummerSlam 2023.

What is Ricochet’s finisher?

Ricochet is currently using ‘630 Senton’ as his primary finishing maneuver which is a double rotation moonsault, where he showcases his high-flying skills with ease. This is the perfect finisher for a great highflyer and is unique that only few are able to perform this move. Ricochet however used Recoil as his finishing move for a brief period of time, which is nothing but a Running Single Knee Facebreaker. He is now using it as his signature move along with his other signature moves such as 450 Splash, Backflip kick, and Diving Corkscrew Moonsault.
