The WWE universe was thrilled with the news of Batista returning after a three year hiatus. But things didn’t go as planned as he embraced a lot of heat for winning the Rumble which was cursed with absence of Daniel Bryan.

All the hype surrounding the Animal has cooled down now and the WWE is left with another main eventer who needs to be set straight if they need to keep him as a bargain.

Batista now has a guaranteed title shot in his pocket which means that he is bound to headline WrestleMania. However, the granddaddy is still a long shot away, and the road is yet to be drawn for the Animal.

Booking him will make or break the buy rates as he is believed to be a huge draw. Making him go through the Elimination Chamber and ending up at WrestleMania could be done in various way but lets take a look at the best way possible.

The friction between Alberto Del Rio and Batista is no secret, and both the wrestler has been getting under each other’s skin for some time now through Twitter and other resources.

Del Rio will continue this running of mouth until he gets his hands on Batista for good. The Animal would be least bothered however, as he has bigger things to focus on. This is going to force Del Rio to put in some dirty tricks into the mix.

Run in cheap shot and interruptions in the promos are going to push Batista to the limit and force him to end the chaos.

Thus after pursuing Batista for some time, Del Rio will get his wish granted by the Authority as a match between the two will be booked for WrestleMania. But to add a twist, the Animal will be forced to put his title shot on the line.

It might not be the biggest match to put Batista in, but since he is been slowing down due to his age. Hiding his flaws before WrestleMania and shaking off the rustiness will only be the aim of this bout.

It would also serve the purpose of keeping the two men busy at the final stop to WrestleMania as well. Batista will gain a lot of momentum from the match and he will be set for the WrestleMania match with an impressive win.

But what the creative should do will be to book the match in such a way to make Batista look good and credible. This will be very important as the WWE Universe should be convinced that Batista still could deliver a solid match inside the ring.

In the parallel storyline, Daniel Bryan can triumph as the Elimination Chamber winner defeating John Cena in the final elimination thus making him win the title, and making the fans go wild.

At this point, anyone who is pitted up against Daniel Bryan is bound to get boos. And after the Elimination Chamber, a match between Bryan and Batista will be so obvious that the fans will know exactly who to boo.

And keeping apart his initial appearance on Raw, Batista is yet to establish himself as a full-fledged face that will make the fans go wild like Bryan. The animal could be more effective as a heel and putting him against Bryan will take the heat to a whole different level.

Bryan will be thus face with another screwy situation with Batista backed by the Authority which means that the Flying goat will head into the match as a clear underdog.

All this will make an intriguing encounter at the Rumble which will be worth waiting for.

This will be what the WWE fans want: Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania main event.

And he will be up against an animal that’s being backed up by the power game of the Authority. Actually it will be match with Daniel Bryan and the fans on one side while Batista and the company will be on the other.

The intensity of a match involving Bryan is easily imaginable as he gives all his life into every match that he gets into. But don’t expect such brilliance like what we saw at Rumble as Batista would find it hard to complement the in ring skills of Bryan.

There won’t be much left in Batista to keep up with the energy level.
