The WWE Universe experienced a great loss on Thursday after Roddy “Rowdy” Piper, one of the company’s greatest names and Hall of Famer, passed away at his residence in Hollywood, California.
Piper, aged 61, suffered to cardiac arrest during his sleep and was found dead the next morning. With this tragic news floating around the world of wrestling, several former and current WWE superstars and personalities paid their homage to the Canadian-born wrestler.
As noted earlier, Piper’s representative and his family have already commented on their sudden loss. He is succeeded by his wife Kitty and their four kids, including three daughters and son Colt Toombs who is an MMA fighter and up & coming pro wrestler. Colt tweeted the following on his late father:
