ROH kick-started the Global Wars tour in tremendous fashion in Buffalo, on the first day of the tour. The ROH and NJPW stars then landed in Pittsburgh for the second show of the tour, last night.
The match card once again featured some top stars from both ROH and NJPW; there were also two title matches that took place on the night.
#1 Hiromu Takahashi vs Mark Briscoe
The show kicked off with an amazing match featuring two of the world’s top stars in Hiromu Takahashi and Mark Briscoe. Hiromu, as usual once again was accompanied to the ring by Daryl, who was sitting at the announcer's table like he does every time.
As the match got started, Mark immediately took a nasty bump as his elbow clearly popped out, which was really hard to look at. The referee then had no other option but to ring the bell and call an end to the match. Hiromu was declared the winner via no-contest.
Result: Hiromu Takahashi def. Mark Briscoe via no-contest
#2 Best Friends vs The Dawgs
This match was originally scheduled to take place between Best Friends and The Addiction. However, before the match started, Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian came down to ringside and said that they would not compete because the crowd does not deserve to see them wrestle. The Dawgs are announced as the replacement for Addiction.
It is always great to see Chuckie T and Trent teaming up with each other, with both men having brilliant chemistry as a team.
However, it was the team of Will Ferrara and Rhett Titus who dominated most of the bout and put a heavy beating on their opponents. The Dawgs looked to secure the win after they tried to use a chain to win the contest but Cheeseburger came down to the ring and prevented that from happening.
The Best Friends then hit the Dude Buster and got the win; Chuckie T, Trent and Cheeseburger then shared a group hug in the middle of the ring.
Result: Best Friends def. The Dawgs
#3 Jay White vs Jay Lethal
This match was filled with “Let’s go Jay” chants, which was really fun. The two men started the match by spending a lot of time on the mat and trying various pinning combinations. However, the bout soon picked up its pace and the action got faster by the minute.
These two put on a superb match and Lethal picked up the win after hitting the Lethal Injection on White.
#4 Motor City Machine Guns vs Young Bucks vs The Kingdom (TK O’Ryan & Vinny Marseglia) for the ROH Tag Team Championship
Alex Shelley threw up a “Too Sweet” to Matt Jackson but as Matt couldn’t use that catchphrase, the crowd started chanting “Cease and desist”.
As expected, this match was quick, high flying and a lot of fun. All three teams worked really well with each other and it was pure chaos throughout the entire bout. Chris Sabin rolled up Matt Jackson to retain the ROH Tag Titles for Motor City Machine Guns.
After the match, The Addiction came down to the ring and attacked MCMG. But soon the Best Friends ran down the ramp as well to make the save and took out Daniels and Kazarian in the process.
Bully Ray once again came out and addressed the crowd on the night and said that his in-ring career is in jeopardy due to concussion issues.
Result: Motor City Machine Guns def. Young Bucks and The Kingdom
#5 Deonna Purrazzo, Mandy Leon & Jenny Rose vs Britt Baker, Sumie Sakai and Faye Jackson
The Women of Honor managed to put up a great, solid match for the Pittsburgh crowd. The bout was entertaining and saw Deonna get the win for her team after locking in a Fujiwara on Faye and forcing her to tap out.
Both Deonna and Britt Baker were excellent in the match, and the same goes for Faye Jackson, who got a chance to showcase her potential on the night.

#6 Kenny King vs Hangman Page vs Punisher Martinez vs Josh Woods vs Matt Taven vs Kushida- (ROH Television Championship)
This match was full of crazy and amazing spots throughout, as all six men had the Pittsburgh crowd on their feet. However, it was Adam Page who was the standout in this match, the Bullet Club member was part of some insane sequence throughout the match.
But all six men got an equal chance to showcase their capability.
Kenny King went on to hit the Royal Flush on Woods in the later stages of the contest and went on to retain his championship.
Result: Kenny King def. Josh Woods, Kushida, Punisher Martinez, Hangman Page, Matt Taven
#7 War Machine vs Killer Elite Squad
These two teams have been feuding over the IWGP Tag Team Titles in Japan, and have already faced each other on numerous occasions in NJPW -- with the inclusion of Guerrillas of Destiny as well.
But nevertheless, this bout was hard hitting and also had some fun spots, such as Rowe using Hanson as an offensive weapon to take out both Davey Boy Smith and Lance Hoyt. Rowe then went on to get the pin on Hoyt, after hitting the Fallout for the win.
Result: War Machine def. Killer Elite Squad
#8 Minoru Suzuki vs Silas Young
Suzuki vs Young was labelled as a ‘Man vs Man’ contest, as two of the toughest men in the wrestling business went toe-to-toe in the co-main event of the night.
The bout started with both of them spitting in each other’s faces, this bout was just brutal and was an absolute brawl fight. Beer City Bruiser tried to distract Suzuki during the bout, but that did not stop the Suzuki Gun leader to put a beating on Young.
Davey Boy Smith Jr. also ran down towards ringside and distracted the ref which allowed Suzuki to hit a chair shot on Young and get the win.
Result: Minoru Suzuki def. Silas Young
#9 Bullet Club (Kenny Omega, Marty Scurll & Cody Rhodes) vs CHAOS (Toru Yano, Yoshi-Hashi and Will Ospreay)
The Bullet Club once again used “The Elite rule” and put their ROH six-man tag team titles on the line meaning that the main-event was also a title bout.
The match started with Will Ospreay offering a “Too Sweet” to Scurll as the crowd once again started chanting “cease and desist”. This match was fun and entertaining, thanks to Yano being part of it.
Other than that, we also saw a lot of high flying action thanks to Will Ospreay and also some fast-paced action, courtesy of the rest of the CHAOS and Bullet Club members.
The Hung Bucks (Adam Page & The Young Bucks) came down to the ring and we got to see another “10 boots” spot before the entire Bullet Club started imitating the Ultimate Warrior.
The Luxury Trio - Cody, Scurll, and Omega, retained the titles after “The Villain” made Yano tap-out to the Crossface Chicken Wing.
Result: Bullet Club def. CHAOS
