What's the story
The Young Bucks are well on their way to pro wrestling immortality at this point. Each time they step into the ring it seems they have figured out a new way to delight fans and leave them cheering while begging for more. They are the epitome of having fun in the ring and nobody really does it better than Matt and Nick Jackson.
But all good things must come to an end and that includes The Young Bucks' current deals. Dave Meltzer recently disclosed when those current deals are set to expire for The Young Bucks.
In case you didn't know...
The Young Bucks are world-known at this point for their innovative offense and incredible personalities. They seem to be a grand parody of pro wrestling and also take themselves seriously as well. It's a very interesting dichotomy, to say the least.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
WWE and The Young Bucks seem to be at odds judging by the cease and desist letter the Jackson Brothers received from WWE not too long ago over the usage of "too sweet." But you can never say never in pro wrestling.
The heart of the matter
Some fans have often wondered if The Young Bucks would ever find their way to WWE. Although it might be up in the air at this point the mighty dollar is a very persuasive animal when inserted into a situation.
But even if WWE isn't in the plans, The Young Bucks' current deal with ROH has to expire eventually and the same is true for their New Japan deals.
Some people have often wondered exactly when that time might come including Benjamin Morris, senior writer for FiveThirtyEight when he asked Dave Meltzer: "when are the Young Bucks deals up? Kenny has def hinted he’d like them all to make a big play together, wherever it might be."
What's next
This response from Meltzer was pretty exact, to say the least. It makes me wonder if there might be some kind of plans for an actual WWE Bullet Club invasion in due time. WWE could certainly use the extra star power after all. But who knows what could be down the line?
Author's take
No matter what The Young Bucks decide to do, I just hope they're able to do it while having a ton of fun and being as safe as possible. It would also be great if WWE could properly use The Young Bucks (and Kenny Omega) if they ever do get them to sign on the dotted line.
