What’s the story?
Mike Johnson, of PWInsider, is reporting that Ken Anderson has signed a deal with Ring Of Honor. Anderson will make his debut on April 28th in Hopkins, Minnesota where he will challenge Marty Scrull for the ROH Television Championship.
In case you didn’t know...
Anderson was known as Mr Kennedy in the WWE. He was on the cusp of becoming a major star in the WWE until he botched a move in a match against Randy Orton. According to Anderson, Orton and Cena launched a complaint to Vince McMahon that sealed his fate with the company.
The heart of the matter
Anderson will add to the veteran presence in Ring Of Honor’s locker room. Bully Ray debuted for the promotion last month after signing a one-year deal. With a number of performers leaving Impact Wresting, it is not a stretch to think that more veterans could make their way to Ring of Honor.

What’s next?
After the event in Minnesota, Ring Of Honor will tape television next on May 14th. It will be a few weeks before you see Anderson on the weekly television program, but there is a chance that he could take part in the next War Of The Worlds pay per view on May 12th.
Author’s take
I was definitely a fan of Mr Kennedy during his WWE run. He had incredible charisma and decent ring skills.Rumours at the time suggested that he was scheduled to become the illegitimate son of Mr McMahon and have a massive feud with Triple H.
He didn’t leave Impact Wrestling on the best of terms as he trashed them on the way out the door. Hopefully, he can get along with management at ROH and add some veteran depth to an excellent roster.
