There is no denying that WWE produces entertaining shows on RAW and SmackDown weekly. But it is safe to say that both brands have lost their megastars in the past few months. A couple of names have also flirted with the legendary status in the business for a long time.

While big returns at Premium Live Events often account for welcome surprises, there are a few names whose names on the Titantron will send fans into a frenzy. Here, we look at the six biggest WWE returns in 2024 that could break the internet. So, without further ado, let's begin:

#1. Roman Reigns makes a huge babyface return

Roman Reigns last appeared on WWE television at WrestleMania 40, where he lost his Undisputed WWE Universal Championship to Cody Rhodes following an unforgettable main event. The loss marked the end of his historic championship reign after 1316 days.

In his absence, Solo Sikoa has taken over The Bloodline as the new Tribal Chief and has added Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa to the heel faction. The newer version of the heel stable is brutal beyond comprehension, and the creative team is using the angle to set up a potential civil war.

Roman Reigns' return is bound to set the internet ablaze, but if he returns to declare war on Solo Sikoa and reclaim his role as The Tribal Chief, it would certainly account for one of the most epic WWE returns ever.

#2. Brock Lesnar returns

Brock Lesnar's last WWE match was also against Cody Rhodes. The Beast took on The American Nightmare in the final match of their trilogy at SummerSlam last year, where he lost. The Beast Incarnate was supposed to return to the Stamford-based promotion earlier this year, but unforeseeable circumstances forced WWE to shelve those plans.

However, Triple H confirmed earlier this year that Brock Lesnar was still with the company, sparking speculations over his return despite the controversy in the wake of the Janel Grant lawsuit against Vince McMahon. That said, Lesnar remains one of the biggest draws in professional wrestling, and there is no doubt that his eventual return will spark a massive pop from fans.

#3. Becky Lynch re-signs with WWE

Former Women's World Champion Becky Lynch lost her title to Liv Morgan at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event. The Man failed to reclaim the gold from Morgan in a Steel Cage Match on RAW due to yet another interference from Dominik Mysterio.

Backstage reports have claimed that Lynch's contract with the company has expired, and she is currently a free agent.

Several speculations about her future exist, including a potential unceremonious exit. However, many in the WWE Universe are convinced that The Man will return to the Triple H-run promotion after a hiatus to a loud pop. Her contract situation will undoubtedly leave room for certain dialogues to transpire.

#4. Big E returns amidst The New Day break-up storyline

Big E was forced to step away from the ring after a devastating accident at ringside broke his neck. He is currently in Mexico with MVP and receiving stem cell treatment. The latest update on The New Day member has many in the WWE Universe wondering if the veteran star is inching closer to a return.

While we may not see him competing inside the ring unless he is medically cleared, Big E could return as a manager. His arrival may also sync with the potential split between Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Karrion Kross has been manipulating Woods against Kingston, which could lead to a shocking breakup. We may see Big E make a massive return to fuel this storyline in the future.

#5. Rhea Ripley comes back to haunt Liv Morgan and Dominik Mysterio

Rhea Ripley was forced to vacate her Women's World Championship shortly after WrestleMania XL after suffering a wrist injury due to a backstage attack from Liv Morgan. The latter then went on to win the title and started an alleged affair with Dominik Mysterio, ki**ing The Judgment Day member on WWE RAW.

Ripley is expected to return and confront Liv Morgan in one of the most-anticipated segments this year. If Dominik indeed betrays Mami, it would add to the excitement surrounding her return. We may see the true Judgment Day leader back on television at SummerSlam, and she is bound to break the internet with her arrival at The Biggest Party of The Summer.

#6. The Rock returns to WWE

The Rock played an instrumental role in Cody Rhodes' bid to finish his story against Roman Reigns and win the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at WrestleMania 40. The People's Champion teased a future feud with The American Nightmare before leaving.

The Rock's stint as The Final Boss on the Road to WrestleMania XL was one for the ages. The Great One is also expected to play a role in a potential civil war between the old and new versions of The Bloodline. With two delicious storylines in the making for The Rock, his return is the one that would get everyone talking.
