WWE Superstar Roman Reigns is ready to face Solo Sikoa in a Tribal Combat match for the title of The Tribal Chief. As the two men fight to decide the rightful owner of the Ula Fala, Sikoa’s crew is bound to interfere and attack The OTC. Interestingly, Reigns could also have a 6’8” wrestler, Braun Strowman, waiting in his corner to back him up.
The Monster of all Monsters had seemingly helped Sami Zayn on this week’s episode of SmackDown by not allowing Carmelo Hayes to abandon his match against Zayn. However, when he returned with ‘Him’ on his shoulders, Solo’s Bloodline had taken over in the ring and was decimating the former Intercontinental Champion.
Braun Strowman rushed to help and even proved to be a tough opponent for Jacob Fatu. However, he was soon outnumbered and demolished by The New Bloodline. As noted by commentator Corey Graves, Solo Sikoa sent Roman Reigns a message by destroying both superstars.
Thus, the former Universal Champion would look forward to paying the heel faction back and could help Roman Reigns in the process. While this is a significant direction WWE can take, all of this is speculation so far.
Roman Reigns can have a Bronson Reed buffer in Braun Strowman
Bronson Reed emerged as the most devastating wrestler on the RAW brand in the second half of 2024. The Auszilla demolished several wrestlers with multiple Tsunamis, shelving them for several weeks, including the likes of Seth Rollins and R-Truth. Moreover, he also joined Solo Sikoa’s crew in the WarGames match at Survivor Series to give Roman Reigns a very hard time.
Interestingly, Reed was also involved in a feud with Braun Strowman before he joined The New Bloodline. The duo had clashed several times, damaging backstage infrastructure, and ultimately battling in a Last Monster Standing match. While The Monster Among Men had won the match, he was aided by a last-minute interference by Seth Rollins, who Curb Stomped Reed onto the steel steps to keep him down.
While The Auszilla is currently out with an injury, he could be waiting for a chance to present itself on January 6, 2025, to knock Roman Reigns out and give Sikoa the win. But, if The Monster of All Monsters joins The OTC’s camp, then he will have the perfect buffer for the Aussie 330-pounder.
It would be interesting to see who emerges as the real holder of the Ula Fala on RAW’s Netflix premiere.
