The upcoming edition of WWE SmackDown will air live from Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina, and will feature the fallout from Bad Blood 2024. The company has announced that Roman Reigns will appear on Friday's show.
Aside from that, Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill will also defend their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship against NXT's Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson on Friday's show. Meanwhile, it will be interesting to see if The Rock appears on this week's SmackDown as well, following his spectacular return at Bad Blood 2024.
That said, below are four last-minute predictions for this week's WWE SmackDown.
New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE
#4. Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair could retain their gold on WWE SmackDown
As mentioned earlier, the current Women's Tag Team Champions, Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair will put their title on the line against NXT stars Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson on this week's SmackDown. This came to fruition after the reigning champs were challenged to a match by Jackson and Legend on NXT.
However, things may not end well for the NXT duo as they may succumb to a loss in the match. Nonetheless, fans should expect Jakarta and Lash to show heart and push Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair to their limits, impressing fans with their performance.
#3. Kevin Owens could turn on Randy Orton
Kevin Owens turned on Cody Rhodes, launching a brutal attack after the Bad Blood Premium Live Event went off the air. However, The Prizefighter may not stop there, as he could turn on his tag team partner and friend, Randy Orton, on WWE SmackDown this week.
The upcoming episode of blue brand could see The Viper confront Owens, only for the star to attack him. This potential angle could then plant seeds of a big match between the duo at Crown Jewel 2024.
#2. Solo Sikoa could be kicked out of The Bloodline
Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu faced a big loss against Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes at Bad Blood 2024. Given that The Street Champion was the one to eat the pin, the upcoming episode of WWE SmackDown could see The Bloodline lose faith in their leader and turn on him.
Jacob Fatu, along with the Tongan brothers, could work on The Rock's orders and lay waste to Solo, kicking him out of The Bloodline. While The Final Boss could then go on to replace Solo as the new leader of The Bloodline, Sikoa could potentially join Roman Reigns to avenge his humiliation against the heel stable.
#1. Roman Reigns could add Hikuleo to his team
With Cody Rhodes likely to be busy in a feud with Gunther and Kevin Owens in the coming days, Roman Reigns currently has only Jimmy Uso by his side in his war against The Bloodline. Hence, The Original Tribal Chief could look to strengthen his team by recruiting Tama Tonga's half-brother, Hikuleo, into his team on WWE SmackDown.
The 6 ft 8 in star is known for his domination and has made a name for himself due to his impressive work at NJPW. Aside from that, Hikuleo has also wrestled in AEW in 2021. He could prove to be a vital asset for Roman Reigns in his war against The Bloodline.
